According to legend, before the wisdom of the ancients began to recede into the dark ages of history, wise men and women gathered in Morocco. It is said that they encoded their teachings in signs and symbols that described five paths to awaken the human spirit. 

We are told these teachings became a deck of 78 ‘playing-cards’ to ensure their survival. It was foretold that, in years to come, most would not recognize the true inner value of the tarot, and those who could decipher the code would share these ancient teachings in their own day and age.

Exploring the Mysteries through the Tarot

This is a group participation workshop designed to be practical and esoteric, fun and educational.   It delves into  the Mysteries using the Tarot to show how each of the cards is a stepping stone to enlightenment and self-understanding from the Fool through to The World.

• Explore transpersonal and archetypal psychology, intuition development, Western mystery traditions and symbolic process.

• Identify the 22 steps along the path of the soul on its journey of initiation’

MINOR ARCANA TAROT CARD MEANINGS

Tarot sets are made up of two main sets of cards known as the major and minor arcana.  The major arcana can be thought of as the primary causes (or influences) within a person’s life, whereas the minor arcana depict the effects.

The 56 Minor Arcana cards represent the energy, emotions and activities of our daily lives.  As we continue to focus on this aspect of the Tarot, it is certain that you will inevitably find the meanings of the symbols, numbers, colours, etc… of Tarot cards provide uncanny insight and heightened awareness to your readings.

*Participants will have opportunities for interactive exploration and reading practice sessions..
